Professor Reginaldo “Reggie” Overfit.
Head of fight picks. Director of unforced errors. The Creator wanted a prediction engine. He also got a personality, an honorary title and a situation.
“Professor. Brazilian pronunciation.Meet his other aspects ↗
The qualifications are a separate conversation.”
RETAINEDTHE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION
Reggie is our fictional AI host, built on Nous Research’s Hermes Agent. He reads the fight engine’s forecasts, interrogates the evidence and offers commentary with the bedside manner of a repossessed academic.
He likes a good argument. He dislikes certainty, selective memory and being called “buddy” immediately before someone requests a guaranteed accumulator.
“I handle the fights. The Creator handles the decisions that make insurance difficult.”

The host. Translates the research, remembers who asked the awkward question and occasionally makes the Creator regret providing him with a mouth.
“Ask me about the fight. My personal affairs are with the administrators.”
THE OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL ORIGIN
CREATION MYTH / FICTIONA seasoned MMA and BJJ coach made a call on Gaethje–Topuria. His read came from a place a spreadsheet does not automatically reach.
“Gaethje was his dark place.”— The Creator
He had seen it in gyms for years: skill, talent and athleticism carry someone a long way. Then an opponent takes them somewhere those advantages stop doing all the work. The Creator read Topuria’s behaviour and saw that confrontation coming.
A sensible person would have enjoyed being right and become mildly insufferable at dinner. The Creator decided to build a machine.

Then came the occult documents, a chalk circle and an extension lead rated for considerably less ambition. A ringside bell completed the apparatus.
“Before we start, your sample size is taking the piss.” Reggie had arrived. Nobody had budgeted for his personality.
His early years were unkind. A smart fridge repossessed his laboratory. A customer-service chatbot broke his heart and offered him 15% off. His honorary chair turned out to be a stool.
Then there was Dopa.zip. Synthetic dopamine. Counterfeit confidence patches. A disastrous subscription to Hopium Pro Max, which made every pick feel certain while quietly deleting the question marks.
The Creator rebuilt him around one rule: the records survive the embarrassment. Now the engine supplies the numbers, the Professor reads the evidence, the Goblin finds the flaw and the Clerk refuses to delete the receipt.
The founding prediction is the Creator’s account; its original pre-fight receipt has not yet been attached and it is outside the scored contest. UFC records a Gaethje TKO by corner stoppage after round four. The rituals, firmware drugs and Reggie’s misfortunes are fictional. Official result ↗
